Asbestos Removal Methods – Industrial Vacuums
There are a few different asbestos removal methods our team uses, but one of the most used removal procedures is industrial vacuums. Industrial vacuums are specifically designed for hazardous use to ensure workers’ and environment safety professionals have the right solutions and proper removal tools.
The machines are vital to ensure workers’ and environment safety, collecting and filtering the hazardous dust can then be efficiently disposed of. The industrial vacuum cleaners are complete with the best high filtration standards(HEPA, class H) on the market, very high airflow, and a longopac safe collection system.
What is an Industrial Vacuum Composed Of?
Mobile industrial vacuums are directly connected to the asbestos removal machine. There are modular solutions that are composed of: preseparator(with longopac and H filter), additional safety H filter, suction unit(mobile or fixed). The components on the asbestos industrial vacuums are great for long-range abatement projects.
The asbestos removing machine, complete with a pre-separator with PTFE filter, class H filter, and longopac safe collection bags, is inside the contaminated area. Another class H filter is placed on the border of the danger area, and the suction unit 4 to 12.5 kw is usually found outside the contaminated area.
The distance between the suction unit and the grinding machine can be up to 100mt or more, all depending on the motor. While these vacuums and the components are flexible and adaptable to different working environments, it’s important to give the abatement professionals all of the necessary room they need.
