Indicators You May Have Mold
You may have mold in your home or commercial building and Asbestos Project Management can help with our mold removal services. We’re sharing some indicators to finding out if you have mold in your home.
Mold can grow from the common substances in our homes, whether it’s from dust particles or oily fingerprints, mold can appear in places where there is enough moisture or high humidity. We know mold grows in places where there is moisture, but where there’s excessive moisture is typically where mold can form. We share with our home and commercial building owners that if you can see and smell mold, most likely you have a mold problem.
There are many different types of mold, and while most forms aren’t harmful, there are some types of mold that release harmful toxins that can cause serious health risks. Like asbestos, mold can exist in your building, and you might not even know it.
Mold growth can have different colors and looks, but it often looks like fuzzy or staining growth on furniture and building materials like walls and ceilings. Signs of moisture or water damage are just one of the key indicators you may have mold. If you have any of the below indicators, along with water damage or moisture, it’s time to call a mold removal service.
